WHAT LEVEL OF PLAYER WILL BENEFIT FROM THE ACE SHOOTING METHOD?

The ACE Shooting Method® is the premier approach to proficient shooting in basketball. Any basketball player, amateur or pro, will benefit greatly from using ACES. We have coached various groups of players including elementary, high school, college, male and female and the same technique works for all.

ACE Shooting is for Professionals Who Value Their Careers

Professional players would certainly benefit from using The ACE Shooting Method®. They are generally more motivated and mature to take on the challenge to change the imbedded muscle memory. Professional ballers need to shoot effectively, especially with the issues surrounding shooting:

1. Good shooters are in great demand and command the greatest value at contract time!
2. “Small Ball” is becoming a popular trend but for it to be effective, you need good outside shooters.
3. The ability to make free throws is commonly the difference between winning and losing; and the “Hack a Shaq” strategy is not going away.
4. Inconsistent “streaky” shooters find themselves less valuable to their teams at crunch time. It certainly hurts a player’s confidence when they can’t make free throws.

ACE Shooting is for Players Who Desire College Scholarships

If you can shoot the basketball, you are going to be on somebody’s team! The demand for shooters will always be great, because the name of the game is to score more points than your opponent. More points are scored in basketball than any other major team sport.

Any high school or junior high school player that dedicates themselves to The ACE Shooting Method® will:

1. Increase their chances for a college scholarship.
2. Know more about shooting than the average player.
3. Know why their shot is off and have the knowledge to correct a “bad shooting night”.
4. Enjoy an advantage over their competitors.

ACE Shooting is for Amateurs Who Seek to Improve and Advance

The sooner, the better for when one starts using The ACE Shooting Method®—it is a lifetime skill.  The youngest age for beginners in ACES Training is 13/14 years of age. This is because a certain degree of muscular support is needed to execute this shooting technique. However, a player’s maturity and interests may allow one to start the ACE Method at an earlier age. Whenever possible, younger players should use the appropriate ball size when training to shoot.  Please see our page on Recommendations for Young Players.
